What is an Acteon X-Mind Trium CBCT three-dimensional (3D) imaging system?

Our imaging software system allows us to produce a high resolution, panoramic image of the patient's mouth and all of the structures it contains. By producing three-dimensional images of the jaw, teeth, and gums, the machine allows us to have an accurate visual image of the nerves, teeth, gums, blood vessels, soft tissues, and bone.

The images are beneficial when used during procedures. They can easily identify nerves and blood vessels, allowing Dr A Farahani (and his team of 2 implant dentists) to work around them without causing any damage when doing implants. The images can also be used to identify and position narrow or missed root canals when doing root canal treatment.
